The property is very spacious, stylish, comfortable and was spotlessly clean. Robbie and Ben have thought of everything and were incredibly helpful with any queries. The games table in the annexe was a brilliant bonus. We weren’t lucky with the weather but it didn’t matter as the house was so well set up. Highly recommended as is the pub next door. Many thanks!

    We had a wonderful weekend stay at Blacksmith Cottage. Ben and Robbie were fantastic hosts, clear communication in the run up to our stay and then super responsive to any queries during the trip, really amazing service.
    The property is great, having recently benefited from recent investment and renovation. Plenty of space for our family for the weekend.
    Ben and Robbie also left a very thoughtful welcome gift which was really well received.
    The location is also great, just round the corner from a great pub we frequented more than once with plenty of good family walks a short drive away.
    Would happily recommend to anyone and would stay again!es here

    Well what can we say apart from 100% recommend this beautiful holiday home to anyone ..from the minute we booked Ben & Robbie were very helpful ..nothing was too much trouble, they made sure everything was in place for a perfect stay .. even putting Happy Birthday balloons in the house as it was our sons Birthday during the stay ..The house was immaculate ..Lovely Breakfast welcome hamper went down a treat ..we all made use of the warm hot tubs after a lovely walk to the deer park which our dog loved ..added bonus of lovely country pub on doorstep next door ..on that note Thankyou soo much Ben & Robbie you are perfect hosts we will be back with more family again in future xx

    We stayed for a week at Blacksmiths cottage and it was fabulous. The cottage is super cosy and very well appointed. The welcome hamper from the Deer Farm was extremely generous and the cake was delicious.
    It is a cottage and is quirky with low ceilings in areas and beams but even a 6ft 5 member of our group managed!
    The hosts provided all the information we needed and when there were a few snags they were quick to respond.
    We used the recommended chef - Simon Smith - and on NYE he dropped off a 3 course meal for us with canapés and all the instructions which were easy to follow to get it ready to serve. Super simple and very tasty.
    Plenty of great walks straight from the cottage and the pub next door is lovely.
    We had a great week - so thank you.
